Comme Des Garcons for H&M coat and... spring is coming!

Two days ago I've managed to find Comme Des Garcons/H&M coat in a thrift store. The best thing is that I wanted it since I first saw it in Internet campaigns. And after 2 years it's mine! I think that's my most awesome second hand find ever.
Today I went for a small walk with my dear brother. It was freezing cold and wind was constantly raping my hair so I didn't really think that spring was coming until we stumbled upon a field of crocuses. Spring is on its way!

It's been a long time since you've heard from me. Many things have changed. As you can see I became an owner of the most fabulous princess bed ever, started to draw, became a photography student... and so on. Life's been pretty tough on me lately but I'm looking forward for the brighter days to come. But I guess that I'll remain cloudy till the end of my life ;)

In the next few days I try to share with my recent vintage and thrift store findings. Sadly I didn't have much free time to focus on my planned handmade projects (so many ideas, so little time) but lately I've been drawing a lot so I'll post some of these simple watercolor-filled sketches in the following days.

Recently I've opened my personal website (Pochmurna Pacia) where you can see most of my photographic works (including my analog work since 2006, but also some gig and party photography as well) and recent album covers I did for my friends. I'd be more than happy if would go and check it out.

That's my first pair of skinny jeans ever (they're from H&M, H&M pants fit me the best). There's a long story behind them, but I'll keep it short.

One day they ripped so I stopped wearing them. Maybe ripped jeans look cool for some people but mine didn't. I also didn't like the feeling that my knees are cold and naked at all. But as I love them so much (both the jeans and the knees), I just couldn't let them rot in the deepest parts of my wardrobe. So that's how they look now :)

Miu Miu DIY: Cat skirt

In my last post I've shown you my handmade Miu Miu collar.
Now it's the time for my skirt.
Skirt was made without any patterns or tutorials. I cut an old shirt that I bought in a thrift store for 30 cents and sew a skirt out of it. Then I took a sheet of transfer paper and printed Miu Miu cats on it. Then the scissors and iron got involved. 2 hours later (ok, cutting out the cats was the worst and most time-consuming part) it was ready to wear. I plan to make a swallow (or cat, I haven't decide yet) shirt and another, this time nude, skirt-out-of-the-shirt. Any ideas? Cat pattern comes from Cats & Dogs. Miu Miu DIY: Blue collar

As everyone know, Miu Miu cats became extremely popular recently. And I became obsessed too. I've found some Miu Miu knockoff tutorials online, bought a 30 cent shirt and cut off the collar. Then some magic happened and... puff here's my own Miu Miu collar. You can also see my new glasses as I developed small vision defect over the years I spent in front of my pc.
Also I made a skirt out of that shirt. I'm gonna show it in the next post. Stay tuned.

Few days after my 21 birthday I've received my delayed 'birthday present'. Thanks to Sarah from LuShae Jewelry I had an opportunity to choose from hundreds of most beautiful jewelry pieces that LuShae Jewelry has to offer. Of course it was a hard choice. I couldn't decide between all those precious pieces. As I'm still in the middle of healing my gauges, earrings wouldn't be such a great choice. Cross necklaces caught my eye but I wasn't so sure if they would fit my style (obviously they're not the same thing as rosaries). So I think that choosing a ring was pretty obvious. As I said before it was a hard decision, but I finally picked white gold rhodium bow ring.

Lately I've been into more girly stuff. Fairies and magic is what inspires me the most now. I broke my habit of searching only for black clothes at the store. Now I try to find pieces made from soft and nice in touch fabrics in neutral, pastel colors. So the ring perfectly fits this theme. Perfect princess ring. Girly but not childish, a bit kitschy but not trashy. I've been looking for a bow ring for more than 2 years but never found 'the one'. And now I stumbled upon this. It was love at first sight.

I've been wearing it only for a day, but I can tell it's one of the most awesome jewelry pieces I've ever owned. It perfectly fits my finger (lucky size 7), like it was made to order especially for me. Also the quality is great. I have negative experience with rings that supposed to be golden or silver, but made my fingers turn green instead. So I understand how important the quality is. Also it goes great with my wardrobe. I don't think I will part with it soon.
